The author returns to the plot of his hometown of Jerusalem in search of inspiration for his next book, only to discover that the townspeople are being attacked by a bloodthirsty vampire. By Gary Dauberman in 2019 told Den of Geek magazine in June of his goal. He wants to get away from the sexier, more romanticized undead that have infected pop culture over the past quarter century, thanks to everything from Interview with the Vampire to Sunset to The Vampire Diaries.

Could see him become Barlow’s servant
I think this movie could have used another 30-40 minutes to flesh it out. Too many rushed scenes to move on to the next. More backstory could have happened with the nurse, which was a waste, unlike the original, which was much better and much scarier.
Looking for something else to add to your watch list?
Barlow’s story of the master himself, how he became what he is. Offer something different or add something that the original or remake didn’t have, and don’t say it’s going to be better than the original, but be very worthy of the remake. I still loved it, but just something to think about for people looking to redo…
